CHALLENGE
Everything ran on paper
Supplier invoices come in as printed sheets or a photo on WhatsApp, and someone types every line into Tally by hand. Stock sits across eight stores with no single place to look it up, so when a customer asks whether an item is available, a salesperson has to phone another store and wait. Nobody sees that an item has dropped below its reorder level until a sale has already been lost.
APPROACH
Start with a photo
A staff member photographs the supplier's invoice, and the app pulls out the lines and matches them against the purchase order. That person checks the result on screen and confirms it before any stock moves. From that one confirmed receipt the rest of the business runs: stock by store and shelf, allocation against customer orders, quotations that turn into invoices, and the hand-off to Tally at the end.

OUTCOME
What changed
Nobody retypes a supplier invoice any more. The lines that come off the photo are the same lines that appear in stock, in allocation, in quotations and in the Tally hand-off, so the numbers agree with each other without anyone reconciling them by hand.
Anyone in the business can answer what is in stock, what is reserved and what is on its way, without phoning another store or asking the owner. The owner used to hold all of that, which meant the business could only move as fast as one person could answer questions. It now runs without them in the room.
